NHS North Tyneside Clinical Commissioning Group to hold annual public meeting

NHS North Tyneside Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG), the organisation responsible for planning and buying healthcare and health services in the borough, will be hosting its annual public meeting on 23 June at the Langdale Centre, Langdale Gardens, Wallsend, NE28 0HG.

At the event, the CCG will be launching its annual report and is inviting members of the public to hear a summary of its activities over the past financial year.

NHS North Tyneside CCG’s Clinical Chair, Dr John Matthews, said “We look forward to sharing what has been achieved to improve healthcare services in North Tyneside and how these improvements have made a real difference for patients.

“Everyone is welcome to attend this free event. Throughout the year we hold several engagement events and hold our governing body meetings in public. This is another opportunity for members of the public to ask questions about local healthcare decisions.”

Those in attendance are also welcomed to stay for the CCG’s governing body meeting which will follow immediately afterwards.
